Greetings, true believers!
The name’s Stanley James and I am the founder of NinjaPrivacy. I’ve been told that every blog site has to have an “About me” page so here you go.
I’m a simple guy. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I love reading and learning about a wide variety of subjects from Physics to Philosophy, and even about the stuff that goes into my shampoo.
I also like writing about the things I’ve learned and sharing my insights with other people. I guess the thought of genuinely helping someone with my work gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.
I graduated with a degree in Journalism from Kent State University. Despite several internships, though, I eventually decided to switch careers and started on the path to cybersecurity and privacy.
I made this site so I can share my insights into this fascinating world of Internet privacy and security. I guess I find it easier to understand new information when I have to explain it to someone else. It also keeps my writing skills sharp during those times when my freelancing work is a little slow.
Here, you’ll find useful cyber security tips to help you protect your privacy in this age of surveillance. Don’t worry, if you aren’t proficient in technical computer jargon, as I’m going to explain every unfamiliar concept in an easy to understand manner.
I’m going to write about such topics as:
- How to avoid phishing emails
- Is it possible to completely delete yourself from the Internet
- How to secure yourself on Facebook
- What you need to know about the deep and dark web
- The different privacy and security tools you should never be without if you’re concerned about your privacy or security
I hope that you’ll find this site helpful. I’ll also do my best to answer any questions you may have regarding any topic you find on this site.
